it's that time of year

last weekend i finally caved and ate at the cafeteria. it's a lot bigger and has a lot more options than i thought it would. still - cafeteria food is cafeteria food. whatever. i enjoy going with the people i've been going with so its all good.

i wore my lucky underwear today. i think they worked.

my friend jen and i met in choir last year and we never hang out outside class because she has a full time job and lives off campus. she's a little older than me and we get along great and have bonded over our similar fashion sense. we've been talking for months now about going shopping together and this week we finally put a date in our planners to make it happen...since we both need new shoes and everything ;)

i'm making pumpkin chocolate chip muffins tomorrow. mmm. plan on giving a good amount of them away to friends. yes i am my mother's daughter.

recital season has begun. played for 9 people at one worship recital last night. had several important meetings with people about their recitals today. this will most likely be the norm until thanksgiving...and then comes the craziness that is vocal juries.
