Just after I read your post this verse came to mind. "Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his, (that would be enough, but there is more!)we are his people, the sheep of his pasture." Psalm 100:3 If you have done any studies about God as our shepherd, now is the time to recall the wisdom there...He will give you peace...rest in him today.Love you...
" Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally (if for some reason we can't leave our burden with him....), whatever is TRUE, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things......AND THE GOD OF PEACE WILL BE WITH YOU." ~ Phil 4:6-9
These are very familiar verses, but that doesn't make them any less true. I'm praying for you Emma.
i'm a worship leader/ piano teacher/songwriter/ whatever searching to find where i fit in this crazy world. i love daisies, the.message, city lights at night, good music by talented artists, lake michigan, and above all my Savior King. i dislike acorn squash, playing sports, and large insects. i'd love to go to australia one day. i have a whole lot of faith and not always a whole lot of common sense, but my God has got my hand and my heart every step of the way.
