change of plans

i've decided that i'm done sharing unnecessary information with people when they ask for it. if it does not directly affect them, they don't need to know it. and therefore i don't need to share it.

i was planning to go to delaware this weekend with jonny bravo and another friend. were were gonna go to d.c. for a day and have easter with his family and it was gonna be all great. but then the other friend had something come up and couldn't go. i didn't feel right about going with just jonny so i opted to stay here. it really amuses me when everyone assumes the reason i didn't go is because jonny and i got in a fight or he hurt my feelings or something. they always assume negative about him and i hate that. but when they ask i simply say "i decided i needed to stay here"...and when they ask why i just say "i just did" - end of story. it's none of their business.

i have a cold.
a cold in my nose.
a cold in my nose that makes it stuffy and runny all at the same time and makes daily living a complete chore.
luckily i have kleenex with lotion so my nose isn't chapped yet...

on a happier note...
i'm going to peaks today :)
it's been absolutely gorgeous here and today is a high of 81. there's i think 6 of us going...all in the one guy's minivan (or the man-van as he calls it). we're packing a picnic and 2 of the guys are bring their guitar and viola to the top of the mountain so we can play some music. epic.

then easter sunday tomorrow.
the sunday school class i play on the worship team with isn't meeting tomorrow so i'm going to another church with some friends here in town. they serve in the worship ministry there and are doing an easter program. there's a couple at that church who invited all the college students (it's a small church) over for easter lunch and they said they could invite friends if they wanted so my friends invited me :) that made me really happy because i was worried i was gonna be celebrating easter by myself which would've been super sad lol.

other than that my weekend includes practicing, homework, and movie nights at jared's. pretty standard.

well i'm off to do my hair/makeup, make the picnic lunch for this evening, and clean my pigsty of a room while all the roommates are gone...in that order :)
