had a great weekend away. actually exceeded my expectations! we got a little bit of everything - sun, water, hiking, stargazing, smalltownexploring, and making yummy food :)

i was thinking on Sunday morning - while my team was gearing up for worship service and i was swimming in the lake - i've only missed 4 Sundays since the beginning of this calendar year. New Years Day, one for my Florida trip in May, one for the Mother/Daughter Retreat (also in May), and then this past week. and I have to say, each one has gotten progressively harder. i have grown so attached to my team!

so now i'm back to the weekly routine. still have another 7-8 weeks of summer left before i can wear my scarves again without being mocked ;) my TravelBuddy leaves sooner than later for a BigFatAdventure. i'll miss her sooooo much! now i know how she felt when i was traipsing all over the country a few years ago. sigh. now i will have an excuse to take another trip and go visit her...but probably not until after i make it through christmas :(
