weekend

it's been a whirlwind week.
Monday - took KateKate to the waterpark. got semi-sunburnt. hung out with mcpaul and ty.
Tuesday - piano lessons all day then TacoTuesday. hung out with mcpaul and ty and his notgirlfriend.
Wednesday - most exhausting Wed in a while - lessons all day then a going away party, then rehearsal, then another rehearsal recording new songs for fall - super fun, but super tedious and exhausting.

This week my feet, particularly my left foot, started really hurting - different than any foot pain i've ever had before. Madre said it sounded like something my dad had and treated with stretches, and also something our friend P has and treated with physical therapy. great.
So by Wed night I'm done. I'm physically and mentally shot and my foot really hurts.

Thursday - we realized the basement storage room was flooded right as we were leaving for a funeral. madre and co. were leaving for their flight to florida straight from the funeral so i ended up spending the day dealing with TheFlood before heading to work at night. special thanks to some friends who went so far out of their way to help our family during this crisis! a quote i heard this week: "thank you Lord for showing me how much you love me through the actions of these people". came home and worked on cleanup some more then turned in, feet throbbing.

Friday - made it! whew! two managers asked me last night if i wanted to work today and i quickly told them nothankyou. i worked on TheFlood clean up some more and then met TravelBuddy for lunch/shopping for supplies for my pinterest project.

came home. cleaned kitchen (which had been neglected all day yesterday due to TheFlood) and then settled in for an afternoon of laundry/email catch up/baking cookies. my foot is killing me. currently acting as a notchaparone for my brother and his group of coed friends that are hanging out in my trashed basement.

Saturday - going out with friend P for a bit then off to work for the evening once again. i'm getting a bit worried about how my foot will hold up. Dear Lord I know it's selfish and superficial, but i really don't want to give up wearing cute shoes!!!

Sunday - church in the morning, then REST in the afternoon. i intend to be lazy. perhaps work on my pinterest project. gotta gear up for another crazy week coming up! Fall Kickoff is almost here!!!
