It took me all day to come up with someone, but here you go.
This is Meredith Andrews. She was a music student at Liberty, sang on the campus worship team, and when James MacDonald (pastor of Harvest Bible in Chicago) came to speak at Liberty, he heard her lead and offered her a job at his church when she graduated...or so the story goes :)
Meredith fascinates me because she is a singer/songwriter/recording artist AND a worship leader...AND a wife and mom. Anyone who can do that and blows my mind. I'm sure she probably has a manager and a nanny and isn't the actual worship director of her church, but it's still pretty cool.
I'm a big fan of her music, partly because her musical/vocal style is very similar to mine, but also because her songs - even her artist songs - come from the heart of a ministry leader. I identify with the ups and downs she sings about and the insecurities she faces. We're actually doing one of the songs she leads at her church this Sunday and I'm super stoked.
