YOUR VIEWS ON RELIGION

As a "religious" person, I would call myself a supporter lol.

I think that today's culture is very religion-neutral while at the same time tries to celebrate each religion equally. Sometimes I wonder, if I was not raised in my faith, would I have embraced it as an adult? If I had only mainstream culture teaching me what to believe, what would I believe?

For me this is a hard question to answer because while the world looks at religion like it's a controversial issue, and I don't really see it that way. I do recognize the tension that can arise from religious differences of opinion, but I think it's made to be a bit more complicated than it really is. For me, my faith influences everything I do. People of other faiths may say the same thing or maybe not. For me, my faith asks me to love those who are different than me and even those who persecute me. So do I believe in freedom of religion? Absolutely. Do I believe all faiths are equal? Nope. Do I think being a "religious person" is a good thing? Depends on which faith you follow. Scripture is clear that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. So if a person does not put their faith in Jesus, I would argue that whatever their religion is, it's not good for them.
