In 1999 my mom gifted me with a one-year Bible that she had read all the way through and filled with notes and markings with me in mind. I read it for a while but it eventually found itself on the shelf as more of a keepsake than an actual tool to be used.
Recently I was challenged to find some sort of Bible-reading plan that I could stick to and do in the mornings. I pulled this book out of storage a few weeks ago and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. I've not been perfect at reading it every day, but I am getting better. It's very neat to see the words for the day and my mom's notes tie in with my every-day learnings. God's funny that way.
This is my Jane-a-Day journal. A gift from TravelBuddy, it is a 5 year journal where you briefly record the contents of your day every day for 5 years. I do this before I go to bed. This particular version has a witty Jane Austen quote on every page (she was one sassy lady!!). I started a few months ago on my birthday and have not missed yet!

I am so proud of you! You are such a testimony and encouragement to me!
The daily journaling is AWESOME!
As is the Bible reading, of course. ;)
Btw, this is Pam. Not sure why I am showing up as anonymous.
