Day 14

YOUR EARLIEST MEMORY

I remember our house on Pacific in downtown Plymouth. My parents' bedroom was upstairs and was the only room at all that was upstairs. I liked to climb inside a cupboard in their room. I remember that the front room had brownish-orange carpet and that my room had blue walls. We had a playroom set up in the basement and I had a play kitchen that I loved and kept all the pieces very particular. Our next door neighbor was an elderly woman who I believe lived alone. There were some rocks on her front landscaping and I would often wet sticks with water and "paint" the rocks.

We moved from that house right after my brother Paul turned 1, which would've made me 4.5. Due to the spaces in our ages, Paul and I remember lots of things from our childhood that Ross does not, but I don't think Paul remembers much about this little house, which is sort of bittersweet because while it's cool to be the only one, I like sharing memories with people :)

I love love LOVE all the little houses in downtown Plymouth. I would love to live down there one day. We'll see :)
