observations

observation 1:
i have developed a callous on the inside of my second finger on my right hand. i think it's from zipping girls into wedding dresses that don't fit them...

observation 2:
i have sold exactly one wedding gown since i started working in birmingham at the beginning of june. this is extremely discouraging.

observation 3:
hole-in-the-wall chinese food places all have the same overhead menus. they also have the same sweet and sour chicken (which is very good). however, their szechwan chicken is always different, but consistently sub par.

observation 4:
this past week (compared to last week) has consisted of very little artistic outlet for me. even though last week was way too busy, it was infinitely better because of the continuous artistic outlet it entailed. also because of the good talks i had with my artist friends who are all gone this week. i miss them.

observation 5:
i have a lot of stuff. moving it will be interesting.

observation 6:
new clothes are really good mood-improvers.

observation 7:
good lyrics never come when you want them to come. because that would be too convenient.

observation 8:
when i sleep in this current heat, my body temperature is fine all night. however, i am consistently waking up sweating in the morning. i wonder why this is.

observation 9:
after 4 weeks of lectures i still cannot decide if my bible professor's hair is real or not.

observation 10:
my dad has been home before me almost every night this week. i am typically home by 9 unless i go out with friends. this is very odd.
