this stupid old testament class is so much work. like...way more work than any of the other online classes i've taken.
by the end of this week (sunday night) i need to have:
- read genesis through 1 samuel...i'm almost done with judges
- read ch. 1-18 in norman geisler's book...i'm on ch. 13
- done chapter questions for each chapter in geisler's book...again i'm on ch. 13
- watched lectures 1-21...i'm on lecture 18
- study for test over all this material...haven't even gotten there
and i've only been at this for 4 weeks...
i'm not sure how important it is to be caught up on the reading since the test is pretty much over the lectures...but the lectures are almost an hour each. not really sure i am going to have 3 hours at all this weekend to watch them AND then have time to review for the test/spend an hour taking the test...
this is not difficult by any means. just time consuming. at this point i would rather have a class that is very difficult but not as time consuming because i simply do not have time to do this stuff. i'm moving in less than a month and sorta wanna spend my time packing and hanging out with friends and stuff.
ok. now i was one of those people who just blog about school like that's my entire life. i feel lame.
plus it's a negative post...hmmm. i need to share something positive...
positive thing 1: i'm excited for the service this sunday. i think it's going to be really good.
positive thing 2: amanda and i are having chinese food and a movie tonight...instead of me doing school. but we haven't hung out in over 2 weeks...not cool.
positive thing 3: got 3 new pairs of jeans and took them in today to be shortened...5'3" isn't exactly standard.
