laptop update

ok.
well God answered my prayers(!) and my laptop came back to life last night when i tried to turn it on!

the only catch was that lots of the keys had a bad stick to them. most still worked...except the "o" key. ironically my username for nearly everything has an "o" in it because of my last name. so....i can't sign into the internet among other things.

i went to the computer help desk today and asked how to clean a keyboard since i thought this might solve my problem. they unfortunately did not do it for me as i would have liked, but explained to me how to take the computer apart. this freaked me out a little bit. luckily my friend josh said that he had done something similar before and offered to help me.

so tonight we sat in my car and he helped me take the keyboard out of the computer and clean under and around it. he did a great job! but then when we went to turn it back on it wouldn't turn on...not good. we decided that maybe it just needed to air out overnight like it did last time. so it's airing out again. hopefully it works.
