blowoff

today was "reading day".

finals start tomorrow so it was supposed to be a study day. no classes. just a free day to study and prepare and finish up homework for the semester.

but it pretty much turned into a party day.

here are the things i avoided today:

1. 2 page reaction paper to being in the thomas road choir (due tomorrow)

2. rehearsing score for final conducting assignment (due tomorrow)

3. reading more of the book for wrsp 321 (5 page paper on book due wed. i'm on ch. 1)

4. baking a christmas treat for christmas party (tomorrow night)

here are the things i DID do:

1. practice my vocal jury piece with and without my accompanist for jury tomorow (this WAS productive)

2. attend christmas convo (christmas themed spoof of convo)

3. practice a duet with jessica to potentially do at my recital next semester

4. go to starbucks :)

5. hang out at jonny bravo, jared, and jason's dorm during open dorms

6. get late night breakfast a the cafeteria

7. THINK about the above items that i was not doing (does that count for something?)

i'm accompanying 27 classical recitals starting tomorrow and ending tuesday.

i will be very glad when it's over.

i will also not know what to do with myself.

bfast with katie tomorrow then work work work until conducting final at 1pm.

play for juries from 3:30-5 then christmas party!!! i hope people come!
