TEXAS!!!
i got a call yesterday from the high school youth pastor at this church in Odessa, Texas (far west Texas) and he said he received my resume from the Center for Worship and wanted to talk with me and see how i would fit in their church and to explain the position and send me the application and whatnot.
the position is (from what he briefly explained to me) a worship leader for the youth and assistant to the high school and middle school pastors as they are in and out of the church with all the trips over the summer. don't really have any more details than that. the church looks really cool and it seems like the place a big emphasis on creative and artistic worship (something i'm really passionate about). He's supposed to send me more information in the next day or so.
one thing's for sure...this midwestern girl is gonna stick out bad in texas lol! but hey - maybe i'll come back with a nice tan ;)

hahaha, wow! you'll definitely come back with a nice tan, maybe an accent and probably a deeeeeep hatred for humidity (it's worse than MI) and heat. but the opportunity sounds AWESOME and I hope it all works out for you :) :)

You will not have a tan because you will not be able to stand it outside in the summer there. But! Very exciting!!!!
