oh and let's talk for a second about the ungodly amount of TARANTULAS i've seen in the past week.
oh.
my.
gosh.
these god-forsaken creatures are probably the thing i'm most terrified of.
it started back at the 4th of july thing out at callie's house in the sticks. i wrote about that already. okay. it's the sticks. i wasn't expecting them to be other places too!
on our drive back from the caverns i saw AT LEAST 15 in the road. crossing the road. on the side of the road. there was no one else on the road so i started swerving around trying to run over them. i was told i missed every single one. poooooopppp!
mark knows i hate them. he knows they freak me out. so every time he sees one he tells me. "hey emma - did you see that tarantula over there?" - drawing my attention to something that would have otherwise most likely gone unnoticed. scott found a dead one in the grass by the sidewalk into the church and kicked it out into the sidewalk to freak out some innocent person. mean.
this morning i pulled into the parking lot and saw one on the wall of the bus barn. and then during worship practice brittany left the auditorium for a minute and found one IN THE LOBBY. the demon creature was INSIDE!!!!!! she called it to our attention and i could see it from the stage. just walking around like it owned the place.
oh.
my.
gosh.
let's just say that i am now completely paranoid about tarantulas every single time i go outside.
