this is the book i am currently reading.

i had to read it for a class in school and it was probably my favorite book i read during my whole time there. i typically have a hard time with non-fiction. i have great intentions, and a great desire to learn from non-fiction books, but often it takes me way too long and i loose focus because i can't stay hooked.
this book hooks me.
i pulled it out to read again because i think i could glean a lot more from it now that i am actively involved in ministry. i am in a place now where i have to BE a leader - not just shadow a leader or learn about what it means to be a leader - i have to DO it. this book focuses more on leadership in the context of logistically "doing ministry" - not necessarily the character of a leader (that's a whole other topic!).
i know there are lots of books out there that teach ministry leaders how to effectively run their ministry. but this one spells it out so clear to me. i really want our worship leadership team to do a study on this - add that to the vision wish list...
