i'm a sucker for Bible stories. the history, the characters, the fact that they were real people learning real lessons. their story is my story. whenever i feel like i can't get the hang of this life i'm supposed to be living, i take comfort in the fact that i'm not the only person whose ever screwed this up or fallen short or doubted themselves. but beyond the characters in Scripture, i love hearing the stories about Jesus, learning more about his character, wishing i lived when he walked the earth so that we could be friends, and then smiling because he knew me and loved me and thought of me when he paid the highest price so that we could be friends forever.
Also...i will state that Nichole Nordeman is one of the greatest christian songwriters of all time. i can only wish that God would give me such an anointing.
