DAY 29: SOMETHING OLD
My grandpa Stewart made homemade bread in a bread maker. Whenever I visited him in Florida I would rave about the bread - I loved it and looked forward to eating it when I visited. One time grandpa made some bread and mailed it to michigan for me. Pretty out of character for him. Made my day! He also told me one time that I was always his favorite. Of course no one believes that this conversation happened, but regardless, he was very special to me :)

he actually didn't use a bread maker. grandma did, but he always did it all from scratch.
i'm so glad you kept that note.
How special that you have that note in his own handwriting! What a special memory.
